Khairiah Syihabuddin

Khairiah Syahabuddin is a senior lecturer at the Department of English Language Education. Dr. Khairiah earned her Ph.D. degree from Edith Cowan University (ECU), Perth, Australia (2014), in Teaching English as a Second Language. She completed two master degrees, one is from University of Southern Queensland, Queensland, Australia, in Teaching English as a Second Language, the other one is from International Islamic University Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in Teaching English as a Second Language. Currently, she has served as the head of the Department of Physics Education. Her research interest includes English Language, teaching and learning, bilingual education, teacher education, literature for english as second language, research in second language acquisition, english teaching methodology, second language writing. Some of her publication are “Immersion Language Teaching: Early, Middle, or Late?” (2009, Journal Didaktika, ISSN: 1411-612X); ”The Researcher You Are Is The Person You Are” (2008, Journal Kompetensi, Vol. II, No. 2, ISSN: 0126-3390)
